What are the criteria for posting a project?
Our mission is to help give a voice to anyone who is passionate about pursuing a dream and cares about the world around them. From cleantech to sustainable products to artistic educational endeavors (or anything in between), your project is welcome here.
Does it cost anything to post my project?
It is 100% free to post projects. We do charge a transactional fee on the money you raise.
Does GreenUnite assume any ownership of my work or business?
No. Your projects, creative concepts and products are entirely yours and GreenUnite does not assume ownership by posting with us.
Do I have to be located in the United States?
Yes. We currently only support U.S.-based projects.
Will you feature my post?
Everyone has a shot at being featured. Our team regularly reviews all of the great projects on GreenUnite.com. If you think your post should be featured, just send us an email at campaigns@greenunite.com.
Can we include photos and videos? Are there file size limitations?
For each post, we allow a total of five photos or images up to two megabytes each as well as one embedded video of any length. Your photos must be in JPEG, GIF or PNG format. Any embedded videos should be hosted by a third-party video hosting provider (such as Vimeo or YouTube).
Can I post multiple projects?
There's no limit. As long as you're supporting a project, we welcome multiple postings.
Are Creator posts subject to review?
All projects profiles pass through an approval process that includes both an initial and final review. The initial review focuses on making sure all site guidelines are met. The final review ensures that the Creator has an opportunity to make any finishing touches. For each submission, our team will reply with feedback or approval within 24-48 hours.
When do I receive my proceeds?
Your proceeds, net of 9% in administrative and credit card processing fees, will be sent to you via check or wire transfer at the conclusion of your project campaign. These payments are processed seven days after the conclusion of your project campaign or event. After processing, you will receive your funds within about three to five business days.
What payment methods are available?
We accept most major credit cards.
Does GreenUnite support corporate matching for fundraising?
We do. Please contact us at wecare@greenunite.com if you represent a corporation interested in matching contributions for any project.
Can I contact Creators/Seeders directly?
It's important for Creators and Seeders to connect. Seeders can send questions and messages directly to Creators through the project page.
