about this project
SEP MISSION:
SEP is the world’s first company dedicated to financially rewarding School Districts for past, present and future energy efficiency and renewable energy efforts. SEP markets Clean Skies Certificates for Education to companies wishing to show their corporate responsibility and convince customers in a uniquely powerful way that they support the community. People like to get behind good stories that inspire. Supporting K-12 School Districts is the right thing to do and SEP inspires all of the principal stakeholders concerned with the American education system: students, parents, PTAs, teachers, administrators, school board members, businesses in the community and national/multi-national corporations.
Through its alliance with Dragonfly and ECX, SEP is able to provide its members exclusive priority access to Clean Skies Certificates (CSCs) when members commit to purchasing blocks of CSCs. SEP enables its members to adopt a particular School District that enrolls in the SEED Program or to commit to multiple districts across the country when Districts are enrolled in the SEED Program.
The SEED Program gives businesses and individuals unassailable GHG reduction claims while helping K-12 Districts. SEP provides the additional goodwill and positive PR by recognizing on the SEP website the commitments of the member companies to purchase CSCs as they become available through an adopted school—pending the actual harvesting of the CSCs and ultimate purchase by the SEP members.
