Thank you for your interest in supporting our fundraising campaign.

We have created an online tool for green education that coaches people how to green their lifestyles. Now, we need your help to get to the next level.

About GoingGreenToday.com

GGT creates 90-day personalized green action plans for every unique lifestyle. Answer a 15-minute lifestyle quiz and we will formulate a 90-day personalized green makeover for you—a step-by step guide with one daily "To-Do" delivered to your inbox and dashboard. Your plan will show you how to reduce your carbon footprint by 1/3 rd and save $2,000 from your annual cost of living!

Why We Are Fundraising

We are looking to raise $16,000 to help us become eligible for a very large investment by quickly reaching our goals: to get new users signed up and make technology upgrades that will improve our service.

We need to hit these goals by June 2012.

In June, GGT will be considered for a $1 million investment, which would help us to accomplish our mission in a big way (see mission statement below).

Your Donation Will Be Used To:

1. Bring the program to schools and institutions.

2. Get 2,500 new people signed up. So far, we have signed up 2,500 and our goal is to hit 5,000.

The Big Picture

We want to create a movement, aligned towards the common short-term goal of reducing individual carbon footprints by 1/3rd.

We believe it is best to motivate people by giving them a series of short-term goals to achieve and inform them of why each step is important and exactly how it connects to the bigger picture.

What is Possible

As it stands, over 47% of Americans already believe that they are personally responsible to do something about the Environment. We can use this momentum.

With this amount of people ready to take action, we can achieve a movement of environmental stewardship without any more political struggle, anymore debate or concern over Big Business doing the right thing.

Imagine: Millions of consumers voting with their dollars, making informed value-driven, ecologically sound lifestyle choices. That is the “tipping point” and it will ripple around the globe.

With the power of Word of Mouth and the Internet, this can be done in the blink of an eye, the click of a few buttons. We could have millions of people all aligned together, following a solid plan to solve our environmental challenges—from polluted waterways to global warming to toxic environments.

We no longer have to wait to be saved.

In a matter of weeks we could have a resounding victory.

GoingGreenToday.com is dedicated to changing how the World learns to Go Green.

GoingGreenToday.com makes change simple and personally rewarding by showing users how to reduce their carbon footprints by 1/3 rd and save $2,000 annually from their costs of living.

We are going about our mission in three stages. Each stage is bound by the belief that people want to live a healthier, greener lifestyle and are looking for a simple, concise plan to follow.

We will trigger the Tipping Point for a sustainable society by fostering individual action that connects to the larger whole.

Envision this…

Stage 1

Start the GGT “1/3” movement by inspiring 1% of the U.S. to take action with our program—1% is the needed number in any population to start a movement.

This is 3.1 million Americans…3.1 million people who have reduced their carbon footprint by 1/3:

A collective savings of $6,200,000,000 going back into our local economies.

Stage 2

Create lasting social change by inspiring 10% of the U.S. to take action with our “1/3”program—10% is the needed number of any population to solidify the "No Going Back” point.

This is 31.3 million Americans…31.3 million people who have reduced their carbon footprints by 1/3:

A collective savings of $62,600,000,000.

Stage 3

The Tipping Point with 33% of the U.S. taking action with our “1/3” program—the number needed to achieve a 27% total U.S. carbon reduction: the number called for by the Kyoto Protocol. This equals 103.2 million Americans.

This is 103.3 million Americans…103.3 million people who have reduced their carbon footprints by 1/3:

A collective savings of $ 206,600,000,000.

Where we are now

Currently, our overhead and costs of operations equal $7 for every new user who signs up, and we wish to sign up 2500 new users. As we progress, we will be lowering this to under $1 per new user.
