Eco-friendly "green" hygiene products

I got the idea for my company in October 2010 after purchasing a box of tampons from a large retailer, only to discover the box contained 16 tampons and not 20. Months later, a family member had an issue with their hygiene product not performing as expected and had to hurry through a final exam. It was that very day I decided this industry was ready for a change and somebody needed to make reliable products.

After doing research on hygiene products, I was astounded at the lack of regulation in the industry and from then on it has become my goal to make safe healthy chemical-free products for people of all ages. These changes affect my family, your family and future generations to come.

Puretex Hygienics product line-up includes wipes; diapers; incontinence pads; tampons; feminine pads; nursing pads and cosmetic pads. Several of our products are made from Organically Grown American Cotton.

Our products are dioxin-free, hypo-allergenic and fragrance-free. They do not contain paper pulp, rayon or polyester, and our manufacturing process reduces carbon emissions by 6.3M tons per year. Our products will reduce waste in waterways, sewers and landfills.

Puretex Hygienics has been accepted into a local business incubator program and I am trying to raise $8,760 to pay for office rent, phone and internet for one year at the Technology Park.

Although I need over $4M for full start up expenditures and $600k for start-up expenses, I am only asking for a fraction at the moment, which is $8,760. Here's how it will be spent:

Should we receive more than $8760, this is how it will be allocated:

• Form a LLC and keep Puretex Hygienics, Inc. as a holding company for the IP. This is what the IP attorney has advised me to do.
• Purchase our first delivery truck(used) at a cost of $15-$20K. Starting with Arizona, our business plan calls for building distribution routes in Arizona first then expanding into nearby states.
• Attend the West Expo trade show in California in 2013, in order to get the word out about my company, our products and make some connections in the industry.
• Develop a retail internet site where customers can easily purchase our products and learn how to properly use and dispose of our products.

I am passionate about this industry and devoted to making eco-friendly products that people can count on, but I can't do it without your help!
