Project

This project will be an enhanced, unique canopy tour through a Portuguese forest that will be called Villas Park Extreme. This eco-tourism park will offer great outdoor activities in which the participants will move tree-to-tree via varied degrees of thrilled challenges such as jungle bridges, Tarzan ropes, slide, bikes, mountain coaster and so forth including the popular zip lines. Original and eco-friendly this park will offer new emotions and dynamic recreation to a vast public (including handicapped citizens) while they marvel with the beauty of the local forest. Will be also environmental and social conscious preserving the Mother Nature thee basis of this project.

This park will be in the north of Portugal (15 km from Spain) and will have approximately 100.000m2 = 25 acres) and in the order to have help (investment) to build the park i need to enter with the land and thats why im here: asking for help to raise funds to buy this land. And why? Because this is a very old and beautiful land that used to be useful but with the migration of people from villages to cities the land became abandoned and prone to fires! Though this land is in a very touristic place, including a eco-resort that is going to be finished in 2013, and surrounded by other hotels the area has no entertainment offer for tourists or local people or children mainly in the summer! So i thought: im biological engineer and i love nature and i love entertainment and i have a little part of that land! So why dont buy the land around and build an adventure eco park! This way i bring value and protection to that land, environment education to local people and entertainment to the tourists.    

My idea is: raising money this year, buy the land in the beginning of 2013, apply for investments programs in the first semester of 2013 and start building the park in the end of 2013, hope in the end of 2014 is finished and be able to make a giant marketing campaign and the park grand opening!  

This project first of all is going to be an eco-friendly park, so will be used renewable energies (photovoltaic cells, rain water..), nature will be preserved and protected, only electric devices will be allowed to circulate in the park and there will be a rope course for people with physical limitations. to be honest i think that there isn't any entertainment park like this in Portugal - totally sustainable.  

If the project doesn't happen it will be simple: i give you back the money you lovely gave to me or if you prefer i give the money for another project that you choose to help here in GREENUNITE.

Finally, for sure i will need all available help! So if you could spread the word, or donate a little something or share a million times this project i would appreciate a lot!! and I believe that the kids that live nearby that land will appreciate that too! :) As soon as i buy the land ill create Villas Park Extreme Facebook page for everybody that wants to see this project born, grow and make part of the process! Construction, embellishment, ups and downs, grand opening  and so forth. For sure all will be invited for the grand opening! :)
